Stream Of Consciousness
alone in her corner and tears streaming down her face she asks herself
why? why is this her reality
There are those that abuse her those that judge her for faults
and when there are those who truly love her
who believe she is the greatest there is
she does not believe
she cannot believe them for all the times she has the person dies
taken by the disease of no cure
it slowly infects their body till they are no more
she wonders if its her fault
no she knows it is her fault
for when she accepts their love they leave
in the most painful and dreadful way possible
so she no longer believes she no longer accepts
because she has convinced herself that she cannot, that she is not allowed.
Elegy
It was like killing her was their hobby
All that was heard were painful groans
As blotch after blotch appeared on now feared x-rays
When I was forced to watch
As a grand black courage drove by
To take her away and scoff
Though we continued to plead in vain
At least, gone was her pain
Among the sea of black and white
Although controlled, I was not bold
For the tears would not cease
only to be stopped in awe
She came to me
And although I would have it no other way
I could see that she did not agree
Ode
As grand as sky scrapers
Will two places be
By a path of matter
Ballad
I can see so clearly all those lies
And truth be told
It's getting kind of old
When I look at the night sky
and the pungent smell of desperation
Leave behind a taste oh so vile
Is nothing but a fake
And this is their mistake
For I am only an illusion
And the stars become my light
The stars are my glasses
And I can see so much clearer
I can feel the wind's touch
And I can feel the wind's whisper
Limerick
There once was a boy named Charlie
Who lived in a field of barley
Which moved people to tears
Damn, did he know how to party
Free Verse
In the calming meadows
He was finally at peace
This was his escape, his world
But the skies turned a sickening black
As the wind howled in agony
His eyes opened as he jolted back
Into the nightmare that was reality
The pain. The tears. The loneliness.
All he had wanted, was escape.

Escape
Escape
The wind gently caressed his face
In the calming meadows
He was finally at peace
This was his escape, his world
But the skies turned black
As the wind howled in agony
His eyes opened as he jolted back
Into the nightmare that was reality
The pain. The tears. The loneliness.
All he had wanted, was to escape.

Q.O.D #2
Hey guys! So I was planning to give you guys like a short story, but I couldn't finish it in time. So I guess I'll ask another question. 'If you had to sell a product how would you go about advertising it?'

Persuasive Strategies and Advertisements
Hey guys! So today our assignment was to choose an advertisement and write about the persuasive strategies used in that advertisement. I chose to so an advertisement for the Australian Childhood Foundation's campaign against child abuse. First I'd like to share a little about this ad. The agency used child sized mannequins and covered half of the mannequin in the billboard in order to show the neglect often shown to abused children. After some time the mannequin was removed, which then revealed the message "Thank you for seeing me." So the claim for this advertisement was obviously to stop child abuse. This ad uses persuasive strategies such as pathos, the image of a child being smothered and how it ironically ties into the saying on the billboard creates sympathy and sadness within the audience. I believe that this ad is targeted to everyone, because this is an ad that addresses an issue that involves people of all ages and ethnicities. Although it does not say it directly I also think that kairos is used in this ad, due to the strong emotions that the nature of the ad brings out gives us a sense of urgency and a need to do something. Things such as ethos and logos are not shown directly on the billboard, however through the link on the ad, more can be learned about ad and the campaign itself. I thought that this was such a creative and heartbreaking way to advertise the cause that the campaign was for, and that it certainly gained a lot of attention for the cause.

Bullying- It's Never Okay
So this article is about a dad in Illinois, who tries to find justice for his son, who committed suicide after being bullied.
It's never okay to bully someone, you don't know them, you don't know how they live, and you have no right to judge and harass a person just because they look, act, or believe differently than you do. This isn't directly related to the article, well kinda, but I just wanted to let you all know.
